These Men’s Summer Touring Choppers feature Technaline treated goatskin leather. Leather treated with Technaline offers water resistance and durability up to five times longer than untreated leathers. More importantly, because Technaline waterproofing is in the leather, not on it, your hands will not turn black.
At Hugger, we use three different non-synthetic leathers in our gloves: cowhide, goatskin and deerskin.
Cowhide – The most popular kind of leather, for its tensile strength, durability, abrasion resistance, stretch and generally smooth grain.
Goatskin – Compared to cowhide, it has a coarser grain but can be finished to a texture that nearly matches that of cowhide. Goat leather is durable and naturally water resistant. We can shave it quite thin to allow for a closer fit, which makes for a great summer glove. Our softest goatskin resembles buttery soft deerskin so much that we call it Deer Soft and use it in our Deer Soft line of gloves.
Deerskin – Leather from deer, which has an attractive combination of softness, durability and light weight. It also has the unique quality of keeping its soft texture even after becoming wet and drying. We treat deerskin with Technaline to create water resistant, beautifully soft gloves that bounce back from rain showers.
Spandex on the back of the glove hand and between the fingers allows for breathability and blocks the sun. The double padded palm enables a more comfortable and secure grip on long rides. This feature helps prevent pain from carpal tunnel syndrome or hand stress problems.
Leather pulls allow you to easily put on and remove these gloves. Velcro closure on the wrist ensures a snug custom fit.

SOME OF THE BEST GLOVES I’VE WORN
Really like the gloves. 2nd Pair I’ve owned. No sweating, comfortable, no hand tingling….highly reccomend these gloves.
EXCELLENT GLOVE WITH MINIMUM INK BLEED WHEN WET
I just bought my second pair of these gloves. I used the first pair for most of my last 20K miles of riding and they were great. Minimum ink bleed through when wet. Very comfortable. The first pair lasted a long time. They still work but the back netting is starting to tear.
SUMMER TOURING CHOPPER
Only slightly negative comment I can make on these fingerless gloves is the overall length. I would prefer shorted gloves. These come well up on wrist.
Sizing seems to run a little large.
BEST OF THE BEST
These gloves will out last the the best gloves money can buy. The finger pulls will still be intact when the south Texas heat and humid (+sweat & miles) have destroyed the leather.

ON MY SECOND PAIR OF THESE GLOVES!
These gloves are by far the most comfortable fingerless gloves around for warm weather riding. Price is affordable and ordering from Hugger website is easy and shipping is free and fast. I would highly recommend these gloves to any seasoned or beginning rider.
