The Men’s Lined Classic Riding Gloves feature premium Technaline treated goatskin leather. Leather treated with Technaline offers water resistance and durability up to five times longer than untreated leathers. More importantly, because Technaline waterproofing is in the leather, not on it, your hands will not turn black.
Why water resistant leather? We understand the importance of comfort while traveling through weather changes. Having the right pair of gloves can make or break the enjoyment of your ride. Our line of leather products will keep your hands warm and dry and allow you to better maintain control of your bike.
At Hugger, we use three different non-synthetic leathers in our gloves: cowhide, goatskin and deerskin.
Cowhide – The most popular kind of leather, for its tensile strength, durability, abrasion resistance, stretch and generally smooth grain.
Goatskin – Compared to cowhide, it has a coarser grain but can be finished to a texture that nearly matches that of cowhide. Goat leather is durable and naturally water resistant. We can shave it quite thin to allow for a closer fit, which makes for a great summer glove. Our softest goatskin resembles buttery soft deerskin so much that we call it Deer Soft and use it in our Deer Soft line of gloves.
Deerskin – Leather from deer, which has an attractive combination of softness, durability and light weight. It also has the unique quality of keeping its soft texture even after becoming wet and drying. We treat deerskin with Technaline to create water resistant, beautifully soft gloves that bounce back from rain showers.
Our exclusive Wonder Dry insert provides insulation against winter weather and prevents even a trickle of water from reaching your hands. The seamless leather palm gives a smooth contact surface for driving. The Velcro closure at wrist gives a snug custom fit.

NICE GLOVES!
Here in the frozen north (New Hampshire) it will be some time yet before I get a chance to see just how good these gloves are in the rain; however, they fit really well, and the quality of the leather appears to be excellent, as well as the construction.

CLASSIC RIDING GLOVES
I’ll tell you the only thing I saw with theses gloves is that they run a little big on sizes I’m a true large in glove size therefore I ordered size large on these I should’ve ordered size medium they would’ve been perfect if I did that but not a big deal I can live with that it just a little harder to control certain buttons on my bike while I’m riding

BRAND NEW HUGGER GLOVES.
Just received the gloves. Read one review that said they ran a little large but this did not seem the case for me. I originally ordered a medium that felt too small so I re-ordered a large which is my normal size and fit much better. I’m leaving on a 10 day trip in a couple of days during which I should encounter cold, rain, and wind. I’ll follow up with a complete review when I return.

VERY WARM GLOVES
My wife and I just completed a 4,000 mile trip in Colorado. We rode in 40 degree wet and rainy conditions in the mountains as well as torrential down pours through Kansas and Colorado. The gloves are definitely waterproof and held up very well. If you are riding in warmer climates your hands will sweat. Spent hours on the bike in 40-50 degree range and my hands never once got cold or wet. They are by far the warmest and best gloves I have ever owned. I won’t buy anything else at this point.
